Six people are homeless after two separate fires in St John destroyed their homes Friday night and early Saturday morning.
It was around 2:57 p.m. yesterday morning that the fire service received a call to respond to a blaze in Colleton.
That fire destroyed a stone and timber house occupied by Janice, Jamie, Shanice, Curtis and Terly Richards. It also damaged two panes of glass in the wall house occupied by Jeffrey Small.
Hours earlier in College Land, Weyndal Collymore lost his stone and timber home in a blaze that started around 9:12 p.m.
Fire tenders from the Worthing, Christ Church, and Four Roads, St John, with eight and five officers respectively, responded to the blazes. |
