A family of three are homeless after fire destroyed their three-bedroom, one-bathroom terrace unit at Wotton, Christ Church, on Wednesday night.
Decourcey Edgehill shook his head in disbelief as fire officers inspected what was left of his home.
Six fire officers, led by divisional officer Eric Rice, from Probyn Street headquarters and Worthing station, responded to the blaze which occurred just after 8 p.m.
Speaking to the WEEKEND NATION outside his home in Block 5, Edgehill, with head in hands, said he did not know what he, his fiancee and daughter would do now their home was gone.
The divisional officer told the WEEKEND NATION that investigations had to be carried out to determine the cause of the blaze.
