This page was created in response to the many letters and electronic mail received daily from around the world regarding the availability of the Barbados Fire Service's patch and tee shirt for exchange or sale.

We take this opportunity to inform collectors that the Barbados Fire Service patch is not part of our every day uniform. The patch is worn on the department's blazer. Prior to October, 2001 the patch was available for distribution via the Barbados Fire Service Sports and Social Club.

Effective October 22, 2001 the department released a new patch which is now issued one per Fire Officer. The new patch is not available for exchange or sale. Unauthorised distribution is strictly prohibited.

Similar request have been made for the department's T-Shirt, Cap Badge and helmets. These, however, are items of uniform, and the property of the Crown. Therefore, we are unable to offer them for sale or trade to collectors.
