Fire Prevention Programs
The Fire Prevention and Community Relations Unit has a mammoth task of conveying fire safety and fire prevention information to the general public of Barbados, The targeted audiences are different in many respects.
There are those who are elderly, incapacitated, disabled, young, at school, at work, in institutions and those whose focus is leisure and pleasure.
To be able to capture these audiences the programs of the Unit have to be equally wide and varied.
While these are not the extent of the programs and initiatives currently being pursued by the Unit, they form the core of its thrust to meet the needs of the persons within its jurisdiction.
